Lebensjahr. Ziel ist es, Eltern und Babys im sensiblen Prozess des Zueinanderfindens zu unterst\u00fctzen, zu begleiten und die Eltern in ihrer Erziehungskompetenz zu st\u00e4rken. Die Eltern erhalten die M\u00f6glichkeit in kleinen Gruppen durch Spiel und Bewegung ihr Baby anzuregen und seine Entwicklung bewusster zu erleben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Das Wort PEKiP ist die Abk\u00fcrzung f\u00fcr \u201ePrager-Eltern-Kind-Programm\u201c. Der Zusatz \u201ePrag\u201c bezieht sich auf den tschechischen Psychologen Dr. Jaroslav Koch, der in den 60er Jahren die Bewegungsanregungen entwickelte um Babys in S\u00e4uglingsheimen von Beginn an zu f\u00f6rdern. Durch die Bewegungsanregungen und dem intensiven Kontakt zu Mutter oder Krankenschwester zeigten sich bereits nach k\u00fcrzester Zeit positive Auswirkungen auf die motorische und psychische Entwicklung der Kinder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Im Jahr 1964 lernte die deutsche Psychologin Dr. Christa Ruppelt Dr. Koch bei einem Kongress in Wien kennen und war von seinen Forschungsergebnissen sehr angetan. Sie und ihre Mitarbeiter entwickelten, basierend auf Dr. Kochs Forschungen, das Konzept zu einem Gruppenangebot f\u00fcr Eltern und ihre Kinder weiter. Dieses wurde \u00fcber einen Zeitraum von f\u00fcnf Jahren in verschiedenen Einrichtungen in Deutschland erprobt und 1978 unter dem Namen \u201ePrager-Eltern-Kind-Programm\u201c (PEKiP) in Familienbildungsstellen eingef\u00fchrt. Zeitgleich wurde ein Fortbildungsprogramm f\u00fcr PEKiP GruppenleiterInnen erarbeitet. Seit 1988 ist PEKiP als gemeinn\u00fctziger Verein eingetragen.
